Inspired by ancient planispheres, the "Star Map" set illustrates the 12 signs of the zodiac as well as several other constellations that can be seen in the northern hemisphere.
Different layers of ink and artwork are superimposed on the fabric to create this stylized map that is a multi-level embroidery project!
This set is appropriate for level 1 or 2 : for an easier and faster project, embroider only the gold stars that overhang the illustrations. For a more intense and complete project, use a variety of single stitches to cover the entire pattern.
The set includes a full-color instruction guide and a beautiful hoop made of luxurious beech wood and custom-made brass hardware that form a perfect set for both embroidery and final framing.
