Les Douces

Another great product from Les Laines Douceurs, made from 100% untreated Dorset sheep wool from Kamouraska, Les Douces are sold in 200 gram rolls that combine 5 strands of 140 meters each. You can choose to knit the 5 strands together for a Bulky weight yarn, or separate them to make a finer yarn.

This wool is special to work with since it is unspun, that is to say that the strand is not twisted at all. It must be handled delicately during the knitting since the thread risks coming off, but the final knit will be very resistant, very warm, but also very light since the thread is filled with air.
