This headband is a perfect accessory. Adorned with a very small twist of nothing, not intimidating at all, but so pretty, it will keep your ears warm while impressing the gallery!
And it's not complicated! It is knitted straight, in one piece.
To knit it you will need:
- 50 gr of Roving yarn from La Bobineuse
- a pair of 6mm knitting needles
- a 6mm double-pointed needle (which will act as a cable needle)
- a finishing needle to assemble your headband and tuck in your threads
Cast on 18 stitches according to the technique you prefer.
Knit in 1X1 rib (one knit, one purl) until the headband measures 28 cm.
Put the first 9 stitches on hold on the double-pointed needle and place it in front of the work. Knit the remaining 9 stitches following the rib pattern (knit the knit stitches to the place and the purl stitches to the reverse).
Knit the 9 stitches that were on hold following the rib pattern (knit the knit stitches to the place and the purl stitches to the reverse).
Continue knitting 1X1 rib until headband measures 56 cm in total.
Cast off the stitches.
Sew the ends and tuck in the threads.
Tadam!
